There will always be lot of business opportunities. But there are two things we need to watch out for. First, you need to do something that you are at least a bit familiar with so you can add some value; second, do not grab at every single opportunitiy that comes your way. The key is to stay focused in what you are doing and not deviate from your original business. One way I evaluate opportunities is: if it is easily obtained, then it can just as easily go away.

I believe in starting small and then building a team of good people. People are still the most important part of the business. Of course there are the standard considerations like the cost, the market size, scalability and things like that. But in the end, you still need people to run the business and so you mut have the skill to manage people. So, it is not about having money, it is about having the knowledge and skills. Knowledge is the most powerful thing you posses and it cant be taken away from you.
