B: Hope From My Heart

The article takes from - Rich Devos 《Hope From My Heart》

The events of our lives flow and change; nothing stay the same. But we can build our lives upon the permanent bedrock of faith, our values, and our character. This foundation determines what we will do with those changing events. We pray that what we have learned from our own experience will be a lamp of hope as you travel the pathway of you life.

1. I've always believed that a good challenge presents new opportunities -- to learn, to grow, to gain strength, or to reach a higher goal.

2. You'll never know what you might accomplish until you try. That truth is so simple that some people completely overlook it.

3. Don't let others transfer their fears to you. And don't wait until you "know enough." If you do that, you'll never begin. Confidence will come in the doing.

4. If you have that flame of a dream down inside you somewhere, thank God for it, and do something about it. And don't let anyone else blow it out.

5. One of the most powerful forces in the world is the will of men and women who believe in themselves, who dare to hope and aim high, who go confidently after the things they want from life.

6. Only when we take full responsibility for our actions can we shed the burdens of our mistakes and go forward.

7. The line between family values and business value is thin, and business need to place an emphasis on the family.

8. I believe in life with a large "YES" and a small "no".

9. Without faith, we are lost.

10. From the fullness of his grace we have received one blessing after another.
